Technology Research Assistant

FFP is a mobile application and software development company that primarily focuses on building mobile apps for startups and entrepreneurs. We’re currently expanding and are looking for a Research Assistant to join our awesome team and contribute to our growing development! You will be working with a highly motivated and talented team with quality, performance and scale in mind. Our core belief is that the customers are our number one priority so we work hard to deliver value back to them with everything we do.
 

Important: Please do not apply if you cannot travel to the Levittown, NY location everyday via vehicle. Due to COVID-19, we’re currently not accepting applicants who would need to take public transportation to get to work everyday. This is also an in-person office position and NOT a remote position.

Responsibilities: 

• Collect and analyze data from projects and project leads 

• Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations

• Prepare documentation/ proposal for RFI and RFQ submissions 

• Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project

• Manage and respond to project related email

• Attend project meetings

• Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary

• Summarize project results

• Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and an interest in continued knowledge of technology as it evolves

• Ability to work alone and as part of a large research team

• At least one year of related research experience preferred

• Comfortable performing experiments alone without close guidance or supervision

• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written formats

• You have a keen eye for detail and organization

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including both days and nights performing research

• Ability to negotiate and openness to learning new ways of performing research
