Customer Service Representative (Hybrid after Training)

Regional leading utilities provider is seeking reliable, thoughtful, detail-oriented professionals to join our growing customer service team.
Both experienced customer service professionals from corporate settings, as well early career or recent graduates with retail-based or service industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: 17.00-20.00/hour, contingent upon experience and interview performance
Schedule: 8:30-5:00 during 6-8 week training period on-site, then remote flexibility 2 days per week, along with varying shifts to meet business needs of utility provider, but typically standard business hours, M-F; occasional earlier morning shifts beginning at 7 and ending earlier; or starting later and running shortly past 5:00 pm. No weekends required.

- Strong computer and technology skills
- Ability to focus and take consecutive calls without distraction
- Critical thinking skills to diagnose different call & customer types
Responsibilities:
- Successfully pass training class, including drug screen & BGC
- Learn different systems, call types, clients, and actions
- Learn payment system
- Learn how to initiate and terminate utility services
- Field inbound customer calls regarding utility services, payments, & service changes
