Accounting Consultant

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a new challenge? Well, this position could be for you! We are conducting a search for an Accounting Consultant to join a well-established client in the Tampa Bay area. This is a 6-month assignment, working 40 hours a week with overtime potential!

Accounting Consultant Job Duties:

• Prepare month end close
• Assist with the year end audit
• Account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Researching GAAP technical issues and regulations, if needed
• Special projects

Accounting Consultant Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• 7+ years of professional accounting experience
• Experience with preparing year end audit workpapers and interacting with external auditors is a big plus
• Intermediate Excel skills is a must
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communications skills required
