About the role:

We are currently looking for a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation Specialist who shares our vision to bring robots to market which help to improve our daily lives. You will work with all organizations including sales, engineering, production, supply chain, business operations, finance, etc. to map processes, develop processes and scope requirements, plan, select and implement an ERP system to support our company's exciting business plans.

Our business is growing rapidly and it's time to adopt a robust and scalable ERP system to grow with us. The Sr. ERP Implementation Specialist, working with a 3rd party consultant, will lead a cross-functional team to analyze business processes and needs, inputs/outputs, guide best practice solutions where needed, select and implement the new ERP system, and provide ongoing user support to scale with the company.

About the work:

  • Lead new ERP selection and implementation leveraging outside expertise, to defining process and requirements, data mapping, integration, documentation, testing, training, user acceptance,and ongoing support
  • Schedule, project milestones and deliverables for each project phase, Go-Live; and sustaining support and track and report progress, issues, mitigations, corrective actions, and support needs to maintain project schedule
  • Provide administrative and execution support for project documentation (business policy, procedures, issue reporting, management of change process, notification, ongoing training, etc.) for effective adoption and sustaining effective end user experience
  • Plan and manage functional stakeholder engagement, communication and feedback
  • Track and report progress to plan, issues, corrective actions, mitigations, drives issues resolution, and regularly reports status to leadership
  • Provide ongoing ERP post Go Live including evaluating ERP based process changes to avoid company impact
  • Data Mapping and data setups to insure seamless integration with other business systems
  • Generate Training/Work Instructions and perform training for ERP users
  • Perform System Simulation, Test and Debug prior to training Go Live
  • Schedule, direct, and assist with pre-go live transitional / cut over tasks, and provide user support throughout
  • Develop User Help Request process, respond and resolve to user requests, questions and problems
  • Perform Troubleshooting and Problem Solving to users on ongoing basis directly or using external support
  • Travel to other company locations to perform on-site training and support as needed (10%)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experienced leading a company wide ERP solution and implementation from planning to post go-live
  • Typically, 6-10 years of directly relevant experience in ERP/MRP/MES implementation and user support within a hardware manufacturing company
  • Strong analytical, organizational, management, and decision making skills
  • Strong engagement, interpersonal, facilitation and training skills with all teams, areas and levels of business
  • Familiarity with best practices, and developing effective and scalable business solutions
  • Proven ability to organize and share data, effectively communicate to align teams to ensure project success
  • Excellent oral and written communication, cultural, and organizational process change expertise.
  • Excellent management, problem-solving, time-management, communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient using G-Suite, MS Office. Knowledge of Confluence

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experienced superuser in ERP, MRP, or MES system in a hardware manufacturing company
  • Advanced technical or business degree preferred
  • Experience with agile development
  • Jira/Confluence experience
  • Smartsheet experience
  • ERP certifications
