Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Java programmer with strong front-end skills to add to our team. The work will involve both developing new pages and logic, but also working with existing designs to make them responsive and more modern-looking. We recognize that it's unlikely someone will be an exact match for all the skills, therefore an interest in learning and improving skills is also important.

Mandatory Skills:

• Seven plus years of overall experience
• Creating responsive web pages in J2EE framework.
• HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Bootstrap and jQuery.
• Delivering web solutions, including front-end User Interface and backend services.
• Modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks and advanced UI design.
• Web components to create standard look and feel for different UI widgets.
• Coding web technologies in a J2EE environment, including Servlets, JSP, JSF, PrimeFaces, HTTP, XML, SQL, JDBC, Hibernate and application servers.
• Java Server Faces development, preferably PrimeFaces.
• Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates using AJAX.
• Eclipse based IDE and code versioning tools such as Git.
• REST API(JSON)-backend services and securing web applications.

Desired Skills:

• Database and SQL familiarity. Able to use DBeaver, Toad or SQL Developer to run queries and view data.
• Experience with one or more of the following database servers: Oracle, Vertica, Snowflake, BigQuery or Postgres.
• Experience with Angular JS or Spring boot
