MHS Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist's primary responsibility is to receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and merchandise.
Primary Responsibilities:
Warehouse inventory or logistical experience preferred. Knowing Inventory control system, perform physical inventory twice a year, monitor inventory, organize storage areas, fulfilling orders, arranging delivery schedules and pickups, Responsible for loading and unloading of materials or products, Verifying the quantity of items against invoices. Keeping detailed shipping and receiving logs to account for all materials that enter and leave the warehouse. An eye for detail and an ability to solve problems, good communicator, and multitaskers to successfully manage day to day operation at a busy warehouse. Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending, and standing for long period. Experience using warehouse equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack. Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices. Knowing Microsoft office programs, such as Word and Excel.
- Manage, issue Inventory. Utilize Yardi management system to manage, issue all inventory as per guidelines. Ensure that warehouse(s) are properly stocked and inventory levels are maintained in accordance with the current maintenance activities of the project. Ensure that company policies are followed for purchasing, receiving and stocking materials.
- Responsible for ensuring safe, clean and tidy warehouse and maintenance facilities and comply with proper safety and environmental policies for storage and recording and reporting requirements (including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials).
- Support regular warehouse and vehicle inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate timely and accurate reports as required.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required; Vocational or Technical training preferred
- One year work-related experience required
- Must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
- Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access
- Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English in order to understand basic instructions and take direction from supervisors
