Production Manager
As a Production Manager, you’ll be involved with the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes. You’ll make sure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. This job is also referred to as an Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager, you will need to:
- Oversee the production process, creating and implementing a weekly production schedule. Working with Sales and drafting teams to produce schedules.
- Production lead for all projects
- Ensure that the production is being produced to the most cost-effective ways
- Decide what resources are required for production needs
- Draft a timeline for each job
- Estimate costs and set the quality of standards
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs
- Liaise among the different departments (e.g. suppliers, managers, etc.)
- Work with managers to implement the company’s policy and goals
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Safety instructor and monitoring of all safe operations of each employee.
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review workers performance
- Keep track and monitor Employees time sheets
- Identify training needs
- Work with Project Managers for job information and communication of install and scheduling
