Presales IT Solution Architect Engineer

We are seeking an IT engineer who is eager to join our team!

The engineer will develop and implement detailed design, configuration and engineering strategies/solutions for several cloud technologies within assigned technical area of expertise, while assisting the Atlantic-IT Sales team develop solutions.

Our ideal candidate is confident, well spoken, hardworking, highly organized with solid technical skills and experience in building relationships with customers. The ability to work in a fast paced changing environment both independently and as part of a team is critical.

Responsibilities:

•Design solutions on products, services, and how they help prospects.

• Assist with customer presentations

• Assist with determining the right products for clients

• Acts as the liaison between the sales and technology departments

• Prospect and contact potential customers using different channels

• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

• Educate potential customers about the features and benefits of our service and how they will improve their business.

• Work alongside the Sales team

• Offer technical solutions

• Manage a client base and support campus environments

• Install and support large platform networks

• Handle administration of virtualization solutions built on VMware, Microsoft, Amazon, and Citrix technologies

• Install and maintain networking and wireless solutions from industry-leading providers such as Cisco, Dell SonicWALL, Meraki, and others

• Document and maintain client infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Ability to build rapport with clients

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• 3 + years of information technology experience

• 3 + years of Networking Experience (Cisco, SonicWALL, Palo Alto, Meraki)

• 3 + years of Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN’s)

• 3 + years of Routing (OSPF, RIPv2, BGP)

• 3 + years Microsoft solutions

• 3 + years Firewalls

• 3 + years ConnectWise

• 3 + years Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• 3 + years Azure

• 3 + years Active Directory

• 3 + years Group Policies

• 3 + years SharePoint Online with OneDrive Online

• 3 + years Microsoft Exchange and/or Office 365

• 3 + years Virtualization (VMware, VMware View, Hyper-V

• 3 + years Experience implementing network technology in a colo/multi-cloud environment.

• 3+ years Voice Technologies (POTS, VoIP, SIP Trunking)
