Overview: Acts as the single point of contact for assigned IT project(s). Ensures that IT projects are delivered on schedule and at budget by performing project management function. Works on moderate to highly complex projects.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
- Establish and communicate project schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets
- Research business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible
- Develop and deliver complex business case presentations
- Supervise the development and execution of project documentation such as design documents, architecture diagrams and system test plans
- Manage project portfolio tracking and activities and keep project stakeholders informed on project status by reporting on project status such as: risks, tests, costs, issues, and performance to established targets on a regular basis
- Conduct project meetings, participate on cross-functional teams, and addresses inter-departmental issues
- Manage outside vendors or consultants and ensures all contracted deliverables are met
- Evaluate user proficiency and define training requirements to raise the level of proficiency of the users
- Demonstrate above average written and verbal communication skills and superior presentation skills
- Effectively interact with internal customers, cross-functional teams and upper management to ensure that all requirement are being met
- Demonstrate solid organizational skills and prioritize work to meet deadlines and implement corrective actions as needed
- Microsoft Office Suite (Projects, Word, Excel, etc.) and SharePoint 2010
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, phases, techniques and tools
- Acute knowledge of program and portfolio management processes
- Outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of project methodology
- Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk
- Maintains current awareness of external trends and best practices
Minimum Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Technology or Business
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
Minimum Experience:
- Typically at least seven years related experience and/or training and a successful project performance track record
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams
Leadership:
- Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work
- May occasionally lead a team
