We are currently seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded, visionary leader to join our company as an IT Executive VP/General Manager in Starkville, MS. The ideal candidate will have the competencies of both a COO/CEO – you will run and lead this company to the next level.

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related, MBA preferred
• 8+ years of Information Technology experience
• 5+ years of Management experience
• Must live within 50 miles of Starkville, MS
• Experience selling to and/or building relationships with state and local government and school systems (SLED)
• Experience with recurring revenue, bidding processes and service contracts preferred
• Executive presence and ability to maintain calm demeanor in high stress environments
• Successful history of motivating and training teams with direct responsibility for hiring/terminating employees
• Understanding of key metrics and their impact on the business
• Sound strategic planning skills
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Well-organized, confident, energetic, and calm under pressure
• Excellent interdepartmental communication skills
• Experience with sales of managed services preferred

In this key leadership position as IT General Manager, we are seeking a forward-thinking individual that has a long history of providing technology managed service products, service and support. Experience establishing relationships and selling to state and local government and educational facilities (SLED) is preferred. The ideal candidate has previous corporate management experience, intimate knowledge of the Information Technology industry and solutions, a proven track record of achieving results, and puts people first – customers and team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, develop, implement, and direct the organization’s operational and fiscal function and performance
• Analyze and make recommendations on the impact of long-range growth initiatives, planning, and introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions
• Develop credibility and authority for the finance leadership team by providing accurate analysis of budgets, reports and financial trends and operational procedures in order to assist the BOD and senior executive team
• Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the company
• Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the EVP/COO as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges
• Provide expert financial guidance and advice to others within executive leadership
• Improve the planning and budgeting process on a continual basis by educating departments and key members of corporate leadership
• Ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and standards
• Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among senior executive team and all members of staff
