The Senior Control Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, installation, commissioning, and operation of a new Battery Active Material (BAM) Factory (Moses Lake, WA). This position will join the engineering team tasked with the design and construction of the world's largest production facility of next generation lithium silicon anode materials.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Serve as subject matter expert for engineering and maintenance staff on control systems and low voltage electrical layouts.
  • Develop control system architecture, technical requirements and component design specification for BAM factory.
  • Assist in design, construction, and commissioning of process controls equipment.
  • Develop and contribute manufacturing best practices to facility wide safety philosophy.
  • Specify and procure business system side visualization and historian software.
  • Resolve technical issues with equipment and processes during commissioning phase.
  • Create documentation including single-line diagrams, cause and effects, and control narratives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing or related engineering.
  • MUST HAVE industrial engineering experience.
  • Experience in capital project management.
  • Experience with DCS & SIS systems (Emerson, Yokogawa or similar).
  • Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
  • Industrial experience in chemical processing.
  • Prior experience at both large and start-up companies.
  • Experience in materials production and/or chemical processing.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and networking.
  • Experience with ancillary system configuration and design (historian, visualization, MES, etc).
  • Experience in PSM covered facilities.

The base salary range for this role is $109,000 to $119,000. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
