 Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst – Job Description

• Work closely with developers and project implementation teams to ensure that the firm’s products and services meet client standards and end user requirements. Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects using a variety of methods.
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Write Test Cases and Test Scripts for the large software modules.
• Collaborate with development team members to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Test all software releases from development department.
• Utilization of Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager.
• Utilization of defect tracking tools (BugTracker, DevTrack, Quality Center, etc).
• Assist in the creation of software documentation in conjunction with the technical writer.
• Document and track all software defects.

 Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst - Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience in software testing with strong understanding of testing methodologies and theory
• 3+ years’ experience with VB.NET, SQL and Web Services
• Experience with MS Windows, MS SQL Server, MS Office applications, Internet Technologies, SDLC and development defect tracking tools.
• Intermediate SQL Knowledge including ability to write intermediate SQL queries including joins and unions.
• Experience with SQL Enterprise Manager and TSQL.
• Experience with backend database testing.
• Ability to read stored procedures.
• Ability to read and test software specifications.
• Ability to meet goals and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are used with team members and clients in the form of formal training, mentoring, and presentations.

 Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst – Desired Skills

• Ability to read code (SQL, ASP, .Net, VB, JavaScript).
• 3+ years’ experience with T-SQL preferred.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Source Control Applications and Software Configuration Management promotion processes.
• Experience with testing of Web Services, mobile applications, interface or DTS.
• Experience with Labor Market Information & National Employment Systems.
