Membership ManagerThe Detroit Regional Chamber has been named a Detroit Free Press Top Workplace three years in a row! We are looking for a full time Membership Manager to join our team! The Detroit Regional Chamber offers a hybrid work environment with work from home flexibility, and office hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Must be highly motivated and enthusiastic with solid presentation skills.
The candidate must communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Must be adept with technology and interacting with business decision makers.
Individual must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment. Able to work periodic early mornings and late evenings and travel within the Southeast Michigan region.Membership Manager Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of prospects to solicit memberships while collaborating with Resource Development team to achieve group goals. Track prospecting activities within the organization's CRM.Collaborate internally with the Engagement team to share intel to assist in the onboarding, communication and engagement process.
Participate in member events. Attend relevant committee meetings and other programs to ensure comprehensive understanding of the Chamber and all investment opportunities.Engage in regional business activities to build network and uncover prospects. The Membership Manager report to the Senior Director, Engagement, the Membership Manager is responsible for securing memberships for the Detroit Regional Chamber through cultivating relationships with small and mid-size companies.
This individual must strategically use the Chamber's value proposition to match the needs of prospects to maximize new member sales, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. This position will work closely with the Engagement team to ensure that new member information is accurate, and intel learned during the sales process is shared for the proper transition to member onboarding. The position requires a competitive spirit with an uncompromising commitment toward achieving the Resource Development team goals and objectives.
