Front Office Manager
- $18 to $28 Hourly
- Full-Time
Responsibilities:
· Hiring, training, and discipline of CSR’s at any level in conjunction with Human Resources
· Performance Reviews of employees under role
· Scheduling staff for optimum reception coverage, based on DR’s needs and patient load while minimizing overtime
· Review of time-cards and providing information for payroll
· Supervisor of accurate transmission of medical records and reports to referring DR’s and clients
· Oversees accurate input of all patient information and client information
· Serves as primary interface with clients and referring vet regarding concerns of invoices and information contained in them
· Responsible for monitoring cleanliness and organization of lobby and reception areas, including representation of CSR’s.
· Ability to protect confidential information including financial, hospital, client, and patient information
· Ability to work in coordination with other supervisors to ensure smooth administration of the hospital
· Oversees training and cross training inter-departmentally
· Works directly with referring vets to facilitate transfers or referrals for specialty care
· Continuing education support and promotion
· Actively involved in Ezyvet updates and optimization projects
Knowledge and Skill Requirement:
· Effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, clients and the public in a professional manner
· Ability to professionally and effectively handle phone conversations
· Able to work with difficult and emotional clients or situations
· Able to Read, write, and speak English language
· Implement RVet Link or other technologies
Physical Requirements:
- Working conditions are normal for a veterinary hospital
- The noise level is moderate to high and includes business machines, medical equipment and patient barking/howling
- Work involves frequent lifting of patients and inventory up to 40 pounds
- Work involves frequent squatting, bending, pushing and pulling
- Equipment operation may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to nitrile gloves.
