National Manufacturing Co., Inc. is currently seeking a customer service representative to manage and coordinate all customer service functions through the implementation of National Manufacturing’s strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that timely and effective operations are maintained. Interfaces with planning, purchasing, engineering, quality and sales to ensure orders are processed on timely basis, communicates order status with customers. Processes customer complaints and supports outside sales representatives.
The environment is very fast-paced and deadline oriented. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is key:
- Routinely check for incoming jobs from email, incoming bin, etc..
-Addresses all client inquiries and concerns in a business-like and timely manner.
-Explain complexities and scheduling of each job internally and externally to customers
-Follow up on outstanding quotes for existing customers, process purchase orders, contract review and any changes to purchase orders including delivery dates, quantities, pricing, etc…
-Contact clients with question on incoming jobs regarding specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
-Double check correctness of information given on incoming correspondence.
-Provide daily support to the shipping and production departments
-Possesses the ability to multi-task without losing focus.
-Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls.
-Provides back-up assistance to the production staff as needed--
