A non-profit, multi-service agency, Wellspring serves children, youth, and families primarily in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties. Wellspring has five primary programs. The Housing Services division provides eviction prevention and rehousing services to vulnerable populations in three counties. The Early Learning Center delivers trauma-informed early childhood education to children, ages 1 to 5, who have experienced homelessness. The Family Store supplies clothing, toiletries, toys, diapers, and baby equipment to low-income families so they can better afford rent and other basic needs. Our Counseling program delivers mental health services to insured individuals through three offices in King County. About our Employee Assistance Program: Wellspring Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a social enterprise of Wellspring Family Services. Employees routinely face personal crises that affect their professional lives. Wellspring’s Employee Assistance Program is here to help. We connect employees with mental health services, childcare resources, legal help, financial counseling, elder-care services, and an array of other services that help them address crises quickly. For over 40 years, Wellspring EAP has been serving organizations by providing high touch, innovative services and solutions that support personal, team, and workplace wellbeing. Position Purpose: The Business Partner Communications Specialist is responsible for working with Wellspring EAP’s Business Partner Managers to support efforts around client retention, business partner communications, and new client acquisition. Essential Functions:Supporting Client RetentionGenerate and assemble quarterly client utilization reportsCoordinate and distribute monthly client communicationsRespond to client requests for communication materials by customizing templates for digital distribution and executing printing and shipping of print materials (from templates) as neededSupport Account Managers/Account Executives with upselling activities by assisting to identify clients who might benefit from additional services, preparing appropriate sales materials, and accompanying Account Managers/ Account Executives to meetings as neededSupporting New Client AcquisitionManage shared electronic sales inbox with support of Business Partner ManagersWrite and edit technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and other requests from brokers and employersCustomize PowerPoint presentations and other sales materials for presentations to potential clientsParticipate in sales presentations with potential clients as neededIn collaboration with the Business Partner Managers and Account Managers, write, format, and produce proposals, ensuring they are professionally produced within customer defined requirements and timeframesRespond to follow-up inquiries regarding submitted proposalsManage new group implementation process, including coordinating contract and implementation form signing and coordinating the new group implementation process with the EAP Administrative Team. Create the new client access to Wellspring EAP’s web portalCreate the implementation/promotional materials (from templates) for the Account Executive/Account Manager to send to the client prior to their official start dateCollaborate with the marketing team on marketing promotions related to new client acquisition, including public relations and advertising campaignsRelationship ManagementMaintain relationships with benefit consultants, gathering qualitative feedback about services, trends and client needsOrganize on-site lunch-and-learns, meet-and-greets, and other informational meetings with brokers Represent Wellspring EAP at conferences and other events promoting employee benefits for the purpose of generating new sales leads and referral relationshipsFollow up on contacts from trade shows and other networking events to evaluate which contacts are most valuable and developing outreach plans as appropriateSupport Business Partner Managers with relationship management initiatives, including the annual holiday gifts/acknowledgements to brokersSales Management & ReportingManage sales pipelineTrack sales-related activities in CRM (SalesForce)Generate reports that illustrate sales and proposal activitiesAdditional Responsibilities:Support and act in a manner consistent with Wellspring’s values.Additional tasks and projects may be assigned as needed. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business plus at least two years’ experience writing proposals and supporting sales in a professional service environment, or at least 6 full years of related work experienceExceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills leading to outstanding customer relationship-building skills, whether by phone, email, video, or in personAble to prepare accurate, clear and concise presentations that are targeted to the audience, setting the appropriate tone and context to engage the audience and clearly articulates key messages(s)Demonstrated project management skills including advanced organizational skills and attention to detailHighly developed awareness of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility with evolved ability to practice appropriate, relevant and thoughtful strategies for working with diverse populationsExceptionally committed to operating with integrity, demonstrating ethical behavior and methodsAble to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and manage effectively through ambiguity and changeAble to work within tight deadlines and under pressure.Knowledge of security & client confidentiality standards and the ability to comply with agency policies, protocols and applicable regulations related to client and company informationAdvanced editing/formatting and general usage skills using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus Adobe and other desktop publishing tools Practical and current knowledge of CRM applications and experience with Salesforce preferredExperience with professional services, insurance or healthcare preferred Physical & Mental Requirements:Proof of COVID-19 vaccinationWashington State resident at start dateRegular and predictable attendance.If employee chooses to work remotely, this position requires a private workspace with reliable internet.The ability to understand, express and exchange complex ideas in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to communicate detailed or important information to clients and/or co-workers through written documents and emails and through verbal means over the telephone, using virtual meeting platforms, and in personThe ability to use a computer for long periods of time.
