Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Scott Rotary Seals (SRS) of Olean, NY is looking to hire an entry-level Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. This opportunity is for first shift. A Day in the Life of a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you are responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping products, receiving incoming shipments and transporting parts to outside vendors. Shipping and Receiving duties will include transporting parts between departments, taking photos and properly storing them, packaging / crate-building, pulling and issuing materials, cycle counts, entering new product into SRS Project Tracker, and storing items appropriately.

This position does not supervise others.

Qualifications for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

• 1-3+ years of experience in a shipping & receiving role in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• MRP/ERP systems experience is a plus (Epicor, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Etc.)
• Organizational abilities, both in physical and electronic workspace is a key requirement
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to collaborate within a team, as well as work independently

This Shipping & Receiving Coordinator position pays a competitive hourly wage based on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity.
