Summary:
The main function of a test engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.

Display Module Equipment Engineer

At Meta AR/VR Hardware, we’re developing the future of Portal, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) products. As a Display Module Equipment Engineer, you will be a member of our Display Hardware Team, taking a lead in validating OLED display lifetime and working with current and evolving ecosystem to provide differentiating capabilities to our HW platforms. You will be a part of a tight-knit group of highly talented engineers at the forefront of the innovation for Meta HW products (AR/VR, portal etc.)

Responsibilities:

● Burn-in test equipment setup from scratch
● Leading for burn-in chamber equipment quality problem troubleshoot
● Risk assessment and qualification on abnormal equipment operations
● Quality plan definition, alignment and execution for control plan, correlated inspection, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc.
● Monitoring burn-in equipment for risk assessment and improvement
● Place an order of burn-in module equipment and proceed purchase order
● Communicate with other department and vendors for equipment design and placement order
● Work on-site every day

Skills:

● Good knowledge of display module or test equipment (chambers)

● Experienced in electrical equipment issue troubleshoot

● Familiar with failure analysis and corrective actions on abnormal equipment operations

● Experiences on Display aging equipment

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills

● Six Sigma Belt

• Program using Python, Matlab, C++ (at least one language)
