What is Salary List?
Salary List provides real jobs salary data.  Our mission is to provide transparency in compensation and pay, and facilitate both employers and employees have a better understanding of the compensation market and making career decisions.

Where are those salary data from?
The salary data is coming from official government (United States Department of Labor) or company reporting.

Is SalaryList.com free?
Yes.  All information and tool on SalaryList.com is free and will always be free.  The advertisement on the site helps pay some of the cost associated with the site.

Are there user-generated data or fake data?  How can these data be real?
All SalaryList.com data is collected from government agencies and companies.  We don't force any visitors to "submit" or "share" their salary data publicly.  Any forced submission, even anonymous, could lead to false data submission, and lead to misleading data published.  We believe most visitors want their salary information be private.

What is salary calculator?
Salary calculator
provides you a comprehensive tool to calculate your salary ranking and salary earning potential.  Salary ranking is based on US pay scale.  Salary report provides a detailed salary estimate based on your employer, job title, location and experience.

What is salary map?
Salary map is a visualization tool to view salary data (high, low, average) of each city and state on a map.  It makes easier to view all salary data in a location-based map.
