  • While NU-Telecom provides services to several communities, our home office is in New Ulm, Minnesota. We also have three subsidiaries: one serving Springfield and Sanborn, MN, formerly known as Western Telephone Company, and one in Aurelia, Iowa formerly known as Peoples Telephone Company. In June 2002 we opened another office, in Redwood Falls, MN. In the Fall of 2000 we decided to make a change, and give our home office and subsidiaries one common name. With this change, New Ulm Telecom, Western Telephone and Peoples Telephone became unified as NU-Telecom.
